1. Who these terms are between

“We” and “us” means [LEGAL ENTITY NAME AND ADDRESS]. “You” means the person who created the account.

Where these terms say we will tell you something, we send it to the email address on your account. Where you need to send us a formal notice, use [PRIVACY CONTACT EMAIL].

2. What the service does

You create short warmhop.com/r/… links. Each one redirects to a destination you choose, and tells you when a real person opens one. That is the whole of the service.

What we do with data about you is described in Privacy. What we record about the people who click, and what we do not, is described in About this domain.

3. Your account

One account per person. Keep the email address on it accurate — it is how we reach you. You are responsible for activity under your account. If you breach these terms we may suspend or close your account.

4. Acceptable use

You may not point a link at, or use a link to facilitate:

• phishing or credential harvesting,
• malware or malicious code, or
• any unlawful destination or purpose.

You may not use a link to impersonate someone in a way designed to deceive the person clicking, and you may not use the service in any way that would get the redirect domain blocklisted.

We may disable any link, without notice, that we reasonably believe breaches this section; a disabled link shows the neutral unavailable page.

5. Tags and third-party data

You can tag a link with anything, including a person’s name — for example a recruiter’s. When a tag value contains personal data about someone else, for that data you are the data controller and it is your responsibility: having a lawful basis for entering it, and responding to that person if they ask you about it.

We only ever store tag values, show them back to you, and delete them with your account. We never use tag values in anything computed across accounts.

6. Telling the people who click

The people who click your links have no relationship with us, and we have no way to contact them. Where you are required to inform them that a link is tracked — for example under Articles 13–14 of the GDPR — that duty is yours.

We publish About this domain to help, but it does not discharge your obligation. If someone asks you about a link, point them there.

7. Plans and payment

The service has a free plan and paid plans. What a paid plan includes, and the billing terms, are shown to you at the point of purchase. We may change what a plan includes, with notice by email.

8. Deleting your account

Your account data stays while your account exists.

When you delete your account, you choose what happens to your links:

• Delete everything — the default. Your links, their history, and their tags are removed, and the links stop working immediately.
• Keep the links working. Because your links may be inside documents you have already sent and cannot edit, you can choose to leave them redirecting so nobody following one hits a dead end. If you do, all click history and all tags are deleted immediately — only the redirect survives, and we remove it entirely after 12 months.

9. No warranty; limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is”. We do not warrant that a link will always work, or that a destination you chose is safe or available.

We are not liable for a destination you chose, for a link that stops working, or for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Changes to these terms

If we make a material change to these terms, we will tell you by email before it takes effect.

11. Governing law
